We are no strangers to the cattle business, for three generations the Littau Family has raised registered cattle in Western South Dakota.

The foundation of the LZ Livestock herd stems from the Littau Angus Ranch and Littau Land and Cattle herds. Growing up on the Littau Angus Ranch, Kip learned from an early age that maternal excellence and longevity are key traits to running and operating a successful herd of cattle.

The first LZ Livestock Private Treaty bull sale was held on March 18, 2023 and was met with great customers who purchased this year’s offering. The LZ Livestock bull sale will take place the third Saturday in March.

We look forward to many more years of providing cattlemen with genetics that serve as the foundation of their herds.
