Kip & Riley Zoss-Littau

LZ Livestock + LZ Livestock Photography is owned and operated by Kip Littau and Riley Zoss-Littau of Letcher, South Dakota. The Littau and Zoss families have been in the South Dakota Livestock Industry for generations, but Riley and Kip are starting a new chapter with their branch of the operations. LZ Livestock will offer Angus and Simmental Seedstock Genetics along with Registered Boer Goats.

In addition to the cattle and goats, Kip and Riley also operate LZ Livestock Photography helping other producers promote their livestock.

Rooted in raising high quality livestock suitable for any producer, here at LZ Livestock, we hope to develop genetics that can find their way to your operation. If you’re looking to add high-caliber functional livestock to your business we would like the chance to showcase what we have started here in Sanborn County.

As we lay the foundation to our business, we are excited to keep all of you up to date with the happenings here on the ranch as well as our Livestock Photography clients and their upcoming sales.

Ranching Heritage

The South Dakota ranching heritage runs deep in our blood, and we take immense pride in our heritage of raising top-quality Registered cattle and Boer goats.

Our legacy was built by our family from many generations back and we are so grateful for the opportunity to continue their legacy and expand our livestock operation.

Riley’s family has been a huge blessing in our lives for allowing us to join their operation and follow our dreams of raising Registered Cattle and Registered Boer Goats alongside them in Sanborn County, South Dakota.

The Next Generation

We may not have any kids of our own yet, but one of our favorite pastimes is helping the next generation in getting involved in the livestock industry.

Chances are if you see us at a Livestock Show in the summer, we are usually chasing our nieces, nephews, and cousins from one show ring to the next. We are so fortunate to have the next generation in our family being so involved at LZ Livestock.

A huge part of why Riley is involved with running the South Dakota Summer Spotlight Livestock Show, as well as Kip helping kids with their livestock projects throughout the summer, is because we take great pride in guiding the next generation in the livestock industry.
